Your Weekly Dose of Trance: Take As Needed (Vol. 3-July 11th 2012)

Your Weekly Dose of Trance: Take As Needed

First on my list this week is a beautiful track called “Trespass” from the legendary Andy Moor.  This euphoric vocal track captivated listeners upon its debut on this week’s A State of Trance and Trance Around World.  “Trespass” is just one of the many enticing tracks off Andy Moor’s album Zero Point One, which believe it or not is his debut album.  If you’re a sucker for vocal trance like I am, this is definitely one to add to your music library.  The highly anticipated album flows together perfectly and takes the listener on a melodic journey through trance; this is definitely the Andy Moor album that fans have been waiting for.  Be sure to grab this track and the entire Zero Point One album off Beatport!

This next one really needs no introduction, unless you’ve been living under a rock.  Two weeks ago Above & Beyond released a breathtaking video of some truly magical Group Therapy moments and the soundtrack to the video featured their newest instrumental track called “Small Moments.”  I don’t think I have to say much to get you to check out this song- especially since you can download it for free off their Facebook page!

Next up is the Omnia remix of Ashley Wallbridge’s “Bang the Drum.”  This newly released track has been blowing up lately and it’s safe to say that I’m officially obsessed.  I’ve yet to find a vocal track featuring Audrey Gallagher that I didn’t love and “Bang the Drum” is no different, specifically this remix.  Omnia has created a wondrous remix to match Audrey Gallagher’s stunning vocals, one that is sure to quench any trance fan's thirst.  Omnia’s remix is now out on Beatport and is currently ranked as the #4 trance track!

A Porter Robinson track featured on A State of Trance?  Is the universe coming to an end?  Not quite.  Swedish producer Bjorn Akesson took on a huge task of taking this insanely popular dubstep track and turning it into a trance hit.  While it may be hit or miss for genre die-hards, opinions aside, you have got to appreciate an artist who can put this unique of a twist on any song.  So before you jump to conclusions, give it a listen and you may be pleasantly surprised.  It’s different and I love it!  This remix is featured on the “Spitfire: Bonus Remixes,” which are now out on Beatport!
