Your Weekly Dose of Trance: Take As Needed (Vol. 2-July 3rd 2012)

Looking for some new trance?  Well look no further, here are a few of my favorite tracks this week!

First up, I’m bringing you tyDi’s remix of the Andain track “Turn Up the Sound,” which was recently featured on A State of Trance.  There are 3 great remixes of this track that were released by Black Hole, but this one definitely take’s the cake for me.  I fell in love with this remix when I heard tyDi drop it at Marquee last week and can’t get enough of it!  I love how he draws you in with such a beautiful piano buildup and then completely flips it and hits you with an intense synth drop. Serious chills!  Be sure to grab this track out on Beatport today!

Next up, is an Arnej track called “Simple Things,” which can be found on his newest compilation of unreleased tracks.  I love that this track is reminiscent of 90s trance.  Simple, yet beautiful.  There are so many captivating tracks on the album that it was really tough to choose one, so I highly recommend downloading the whole album.  Did I mention you can download this song and all 15 unreleased tracks for free off his facebook page?  Yes it’s true and nothing beats the gift of free trance, thanks Arnej!

Am I the only one who’s always excited to hear the latest track from Shogun?  Didn’t think so.  “Fly Away” is the newest song from Shogun and vocalist Emma Lock.  Like most Shogun hits, this vocal track features an alluring euphoric buildup with all all-around big room sound.  I have my fingers crossed that we can get Shogun out here for Nocturnal Wonderland because this is one track that I really need to hear live. The release date for “Fly Away” is still TBA but you can check it out here on youtube.

Finally, Eco’s new track ironically titled “Echoes” is definitely worthy of making it into your itunes library.  Yes, I realize this track came out a month ago but it hasn’t been getting the attention it rightfully deserves, so I just had to add it to my list this week.  Eco always infuses his tracks with the most remarkable melodies, and “Echoes” is no different.  This track has so many unique elements in it, it’s addicting!  Don’t forget to grab this one from Beatport as well!
