Steve Angello "Faked The Funk" At Dance Valley Festival

So, the biggest controversy of the week - Steve Angello, of the Swedish House Mafia, has been accused of playing a pre-recored mix near the end of his set at Dance Valley Festival in the Netherlands after two arguments by the "haters" claimed; He's not using his headphones to mix and he's also using one of the CDJ's. We can't say if it's true or not but many people are saying the same exact set was played at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas earlier this summer by Swedish House Mafia themselves. It's funny because we remember hearing Steve Angello's set at last years Nocturnal Festival in California and saying "Hey this set sounds exactly like the one SHM played at EDC 2010". So maybe Mr. Angello does play pre-recored mixes at every huge festival or he just likes to keep it "original" in every set.

GDE ain't ones to attack a DJ's character, ok maybe a little, but we're not going around accusing the man for something he did or did not do. Angello is one of the most respected DJ's/Producers and has established himself in Electronic Music history. He has dropped some serious hits in the last ten years as well as headlined the biggest festivals known to man. And we will continue to support this artist for many years to come.

Steve Angello replied fast to the accusations by saying he would never play a "Pre-recorded mix" as he would rather shoot himself first.

He also had it in him to create the "haters" Challenge where he fly's out three "haters" to Ibiza and play with his SD cards without using any headphones at all. It's also been reported that Steve has chosen those haters already. Stay tuned !!!

"I just reviewed the clip everyone is talking about . so let me explain, when i do some festivals i have a team there that does all my pyro, fx and co2´s , + most of them have a synced "fireworks show" that is synced to the music so nothing goes wrong for the fireworks show since timing everything is extremely hard for them , so i have a medley mix i close with so they can have everything synced , most big festivals have that and its nothing new , as soon as your closing under a big finale you have that going on.. does that explain it ? i know some of you will still hate cause of the fact that hating is your game but i have now explained it and take it or leave it . i don't have to prove myself that i´m able to mix i´ve done that my whole life and spend more time mixing then with my daughter so thats it . hope some of you understand , if you don't sorry about that ..
